Our Systems

AL-PER researched many different fund accounting and reporting systems till it found one that would add value to our company and improve the client service we provide. We settled on one that was strong for all fund structures such as Fund of Funds, Master/Feeder structures, onshore partnerships and offshore vehicles.

We choose PFS Paxus as it is one of the few fully integrated systems available plus it is more flexible than many of it's competitors and was ideal to enable us to provide the high quality service we wanted to provide to our clients. All the information is imputed in the accounting side and once completed the system - calculated price will be used for the automatically generate statements and contract notes. These can then be sent out automatically via email or fax.

Arrangements

In addition to licenses, PFS provide system support services and ongoing issue resolution. AL-PER has a defined specific Service Level Agreement (SLA) with PFS for the duration of the license.

Further, we have domestic infrastructure and operating systems for knowledge management, applications management and operations support which is supported by an outsourcing arrangement with a domestic IT company approved by the DFSA.

Disaster Recovery and server back-ups are taken on tapes, which are stored outside the building, and are physically sent to our Disaster Recovery Center in Geneva on a weekly basis.

IT / Systems support in Geneva are provided by a dedicated team provided by one of our affiliated firms.
